Hidden places in Calgary that you must visit at night before winter ends – University District.

hello.

I’ll introduce you to a hidden place in Calgary that you’ll only regret if you don’t go ‘at night’ before the end of winter.

When I sent pictures to my friends in Calgary, they all asked, ‘Where is this place?’ He said he didn’t know.

I think a lot of people, especially those who live in the South, don’t know about it.

Even if you take the time to come, you will never regret it, so be sure to visit.

The place we will introduce today is UNIVERSITY DISTIRCT.

If you look at the map below, you can see where it is, right?

It’s the area between Market Mall and U of C.

I think it’s a neighborhood that was created with great care and planning.

It’s a neighborhood where you can solve everything within walking distance (University District, hereinafter referred to as UD).

Residential-commercial condominiums line the main road.

If you go towards Market Mall, there is a very, very nice senior home.

Of course, there are also rental condos.

There are shops lined up along the road.

Places you all know^^

If you go to Children’s Hospital, you can find SAVE On Foods.

There is also a supermarket.

Because it’s near a university, there are student discounts.

I guess all supermarkets are the same!! I will do it, but

It varies a lot from neighborhood to neighborhood. different.

The supermarket here is very clean, comfortable, and nice.

I think the biggest feature of UD is this space.

There is a very large man made park.

The feeling is similar!!!

Was it made by Chinese capital? I want to.

It felt exactly like a new town in Samsun City, China.

Not Beijing or Shanghai,

It feels like a well-built new city that I’ve seen in cities like Chengdu and Xiamen, but is slightly lacking by 2%!!!

It felt like that.

At the entrance to the park, there is a pretty large flower bed.

Surrounding it is a residential-commercial complex.

It’s a big park with just this feeling.

Isn’t it refreshing to see fall photos with clear skies and greenery like this in winter? lol

There are also very good barbecue facilities around the park.

Looking at the map again,

Now you know the feeling, right?

When winter comes in a place like this… … ..

Like this!! It changes.

Nothing special?

Ugh~~ It can’t be like that.

Playing with fire right from the entrance!!!!

such a pretty tree

Rudolph standing with the lights on

A very romantic skating rink in here!

I can’t express it in pictures. ㅠㅠㅠ

Let’s watch the video!! lol

They really light fires here and there around the skating rink.

This is information on the skating rink’s operating hours.

OUTDOOR ICE RINK HOURS OF OPERATION DAYS: Monday to Sunday

HOURS: 8 am to 10 pm

SEASON: December to late March

(weather permitting)

The skating rink is open to the public, so anyone can use it.

Even if you don’t have skates, you can rent them so you can fully enjoy it.

The bathroom is very well equipped.

There is also a very well-maintained underground parking lot with free 3-hour parking.

Have delicious cocoa in a tumbler at home,

How about taking a nap in the refreshing evening breeze?

Such a pretty place!!!

A must-visit place in winter!!

Calgary’s Hidden Jam!

University District

Be sure to go there^^

In the next post, I will introduce a view point where you can perfectly enjoy the night view of Calgary.
