[Business Boarding] ANA ANA (NH116) Tokyo (HND)-Vancouver (YVR) Dreamliner Boarding: First Dreamliner flight in 2015 – For record only

This is the Ana Airlines Dreamliner Business flight I boarded in November 2015.

This is an old review I wrote on a travel cafe, but I am uploading it for personal records.

Even if you read it now

Airplane stories are really fun, and there was even an aircraft like this!! do

I get to talk about the old days.

NH116 Ana Airlines B787 Dreamliner from Tokyo Haneda to Vancouver.

Who still liked which plane best? If you ask,

It was such a satisfying experience that I answered EVA Air Dreamliner Herringbone Seat without hesitating even for a second.

Ignorant as I was, I thought all Dreamliners were the same, so I boarded the plane with low expectations.

Air Canada’s Incheon-Vancouver route, which launched in early 2015, is also a Dreamliner, and it is full-flat.

When I saw the seats at Seat Guru, I thought they weren’t herringbone, but… … ..

Not all Dreamliners were the same.

Although the seat layout was different depending on the model, there was also a big difference in the degree of recline.

I think the only thing they have in common is the uncovered window. (An expert can explain this part~~~)

The route to Vancouver may always be a cold one, but

There aren’t many airlines operating there, and in particular, there are only a few flights departing from Incheon.

The flight from Tokyo to Vancouver was also changed to this new model in July 2015, so I was just very grateful.

Although it was not a Dreamliner with a 180-degree flat seat, I was satisfied with just being a clean new plane.

The plane I boarded was the B787 Dreamliner.

If you look at the sheet group description, it is marked as B787-8.

Seatgru’s seats are also available.

Among them, I choose 5D. I guess I was crazy when I chose it.. ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

If you look at the Sheetgru review,

Those red areas, 5A and 5K, don’t have windows next to the seats.

It is classified as a bad seat.

1/2/3/4 I recommend seats in the front.

Right next to digits 6/7 is the airplane engine.

I heard that amenities are not provided on ANA flights to Vancouver.

A L’Occitane amenity pouch is provided.

Because it is horizontally long, it would be good to store bills, boarding passes, etc. later.

The contents included a toothbrush, eye patch, earplug, lip balm, serum, etc.

It’s fully expanded to 160 degrees.

It looks like a regular seat before unfolding.

It is said to have a pitch of 59 inches. It felt quite spacious.

In reality, it feels like this.

It seems like the overhead bin is mounted high.

Maybe that’s why it feels very refreshing.

This is a seat that received a red ticket from Seat Guru as a BAD SEAT.

There’s a window and it looks good, right?

These are the outlets and seat buttons on the right side of the seat.

You can add a cushioning function to the waist with the button with the arrow.

There are two buttons that can adjust the amount of seat tension.

This is about the strength/sitting.

There is no control function such as making only the legs or head lift.

Let’s take a look at the actual photo.

The photo below shows it fully unfolded. ㅠㅠㅠ

I didn’t feel uncomfortable, perhaps because my butt was so deep.

Unlike the slide seats, it didn’t slide down. ^^

I slept very well. ^^

These are pillows and bedding.

The gray blanket is provided, and the pad on the bottom is similar to a bed sheet(?).

It was not provided on the B787 I boarded.

What was surprising was that it was a new plane… …

All the lights on the plane were controlled using a monitor with arrows. touch screen… . I was amazed.^^

I heard that Dreamliner planes have windows in the bathroom (I didn’t find out later).

The water in the sink came out automatically, and it was convenient because the water drained out automatically.

What was strange was that there was a bidet in the airplane bathroom.

There was a bidet in the direction of the arrow like that.

Absolutely amazing!!

I think a bidet is a must for Japanese people.

This plane arrived in Vancouver. The wings are sleek. ^^

Among business seats, I hate emergency exit seats and bassinet seats.

You have to put the monitor in and out, and it’s small.

Since the legs are short, there is no need for that much space in front.

But, this time it was really crazy… . I did the crazy thing of choosing the 5D seat (bassinet).

In conclusion, it was good.

It only extends 160 degrees, so I think it would have been a bit uncomfortable if it had been a regular seat where you had to put your legs inside.

The airplane engine is located after the 5th row, and I think there was almost no noise.

I think it could have been turned 180 degrees to allow for enough space, but I’m really curious why they only made it 160 degrees.

I guess the company in charge of in-flight meals has changed since September of this year.

It has been widely promoted on the website and menu.

It is said that 25 professionals work as a team to provide the best service.

I boasted(?) about the awards I received.

In case you are curious, here is a list of alcoholic beverages.

You can also see sake, shochu, and plum wine on the menu. I guess I should at least try drinking plum wine.

This is the meal menu section.

Amuse is the same whether it is Japanese or Western.

The menu is divided into Japanese or Western.

I choose Japanese food, but the description of the Western-style bread was special, so I tried a baguette as well.

A baguette made with wheat from Hokkaido and yeast from France… … ..lol.

It tastes just like the bread you eat on an airplane. ^^

This is the snack menu and breakfast menu.

This is Amuse Bouche.

They are all delicious.

Butter between dried persimmons, sweetly stewed walnuts,

The duck meat topped with braised apples, feta cheese, olives, etc. were all delicious. ^^

After eating the appetizing Amuse, another appetizer appeared.

Oh my goodness, they are all delicious.

Plating is also an art.

I looked at the menu in turn and ate it, amazed and thinking, “This is it.” ^^

The large piece of tofu is soaked in sauce and the sauce spreads out the moment you put it in your mouth.

The combination of pickled meat and salmon roe was also great.

That lotus root was really delicious.

These dishes were meant to whet the appetite, so pickled vinegar was the standard.

It was also pickled lotus root filled with egg yolk, and it was my first time eating it.

This is a photo taken from the ANA Airlines website.

Even each bowl comes out exactly the same.

Finally, the main dish appears.

I don’t know what that leaf is, but it must play an important role, right?

When you open the lid, bang~~~~

Rice topped with grilled flounder and stir-fried anchovies, miso soup, and pickled vegetables

This is grilled flatfish simmered in soy sauce seasoning.

The garnishes such as taro, chestnuts, and ginkgo nuts indicate that it is Japanese style.

Desert Tray appears. Boom~~~

Sesame custard(?) topped with apple pie and brown sugar jelly,

A cheese plate and fruit are provided.

I’m already full so I just eat fruit.

I should try all those desserts… . It’s so sad to think about it now.

After the two-hour dinner, the airplane lights switch to sleep mode.

I should try snacks, but it’s a shame. ㅠㅠㅠ

I saw a review saying that Ifuto Ramen is a must-try.

I order ramen instead of breakfast.

The noodles were thin, like somen, not ramen noodles.

It was a very salty soup, but I enjoyed it.

The photo I took was too dark, so I took it from my homepage.

After eating some ramen, I order ice cream.

It was so hard that I couldn’t eat any more after one bite… … …

I think it’s a signature menu.

As it is explained on the website, there is also a bag of rice crackers… … It tastes like rice crackers. ^^

I think the in-flight meal was the best of all my travel experiences.

(This is an extremely subjective opinion.^^)

The Japanese set meal with grilled fish was also excellent.

The appetizers were also excellent.

This concludes the NH116 B787 review.
